We have discovered a group of tree frogs living in our wind-chimes. So, even on a no-wind night, as they move in and out of the tubes... we are serenaded with the sounds of croaking frogs and the softly ringing chimes.
Brika is a German shorthaired pointer with an affinity for drift boats. This image is not HDR. It was captured during a storm using a two-stop ND grad filter and off-camera flash.

While waiting for hours this African lion to get up and move, all it was stare at us and then finally yawned.
A beautiful lizard with a colorful fan under throat (sitana ponticeriana) is seen near my town of Satara, India, the fan is displayed during early monsoon. This was shot with a Canon 550d, canon 400mm,5.6 at f/13, 1/400 seconds, sensitivity 400.
